SUSE, Badlock and You.
A Samba related security vulnerability, code named “Badlock“, was recently discovered by a member of the Samba team.
Details of this particular bug have not yet been made publicly available by Samba — but SUSE is already at work to make sure that, when details are made public on April 12th, we will have patches ready to release for SUSE Linux Enterprise that will ensure your systems remain secure and reliable.
You can find more information on “Badlock” at badlock.org. On April 12th, SUSE will also be providing detailed information on how you can quickly patch and update your systems.
