Cloud Growth Unleashed: SUSE Cloud Elevate Program expanded to include MSPs
I’m excited to share some significant developments and insights into how we’re evolving the SUSE One Partner Program to be more meaningful for our partners, allowing them to compete effectively in a changing business landscape. This is especially the case with our Cloud Elevate program and our journey in the SaaS landscape. I’ve seen incredible energy and potential in our partner ecosystem, and I’m thrilled to unveil our plans to capitalize on the cloud opportunities.
The Cloud Elevate Program: A Story of Growth
Our Cloud Elevate program has been a game-changer for SUSE. What began as a focused initiative has rapidly evolved into a robust framework for cloud growth. We’ve seen remarkable traction, with increasing numbers of partners joining the program globally and achieving substantial results. This growth is not just a metric; it reflects the trend for enterprise customers to modernize their infrastructure with cloud-native technologies and the trust our partners place in SUSE in helping their customer bridge the gap between legacy and cloud native.
We’re not slowing down anytime soon. We’ve got some ambitious goals for bringing even more partners into the Cloud Elevate family and really boosting our Enterprise Cloud Management (ECM) SaaS revenue. In 2025, we want to enable Managed Service Providers (MSPs) to modernize and realize the efficiencies that can be gained from a move to cloud native infrastructure. The MSP market is a massive US$608 billion and is expected to grow by 13% in 2025 alone.
Expanding Our Reach: Welcoming More Partners
Today, we’re announcing the expansion of the Cloud Elevate program to include more partners, particularly AWS Managed Service Providers (MSPs). We recognize the critical role MSPs play in today’s cloud ecosystem. They manage a significant portion (65%) of total public cloud spending and are pivotal in helping organizations navigate their cloud journeys.
By specifically targeting and onboarding AWS MSPs, we are opening up new avenues for growth. These partners bring a wealth of expertise and a broad customer base, enabling us to extend our reach and deliver our SaaS solutions to a wider audience.
SUSE’s SaaS Journey: A Strategic Imperative
SUSE’s evolution into a leading provider of SaaS solutions is a strategic imperative. The demand for flexible, consumption-based pricing models is undeniable. Over 54% of MSPs will use SaaS marketplaces to buy products. Our Cloud Elevate program is designed to meet this demand by offering utility-based and SaaS-based models for our cloud-native workloads.
By embracing SaaS, we are simplifying transactions, increasing flexibility for our partners, and driving significant revenue growth for our ECM portfolio. These solutions are tailored to address the biggest challenges CIOs face today, such as safely harnessing AI, securing modern infrastructure, optimizing costs, and modernizing vital applications.
SUSE Cloud Observability on AWS: A new SaaS offering delivering a robust, managed observability platform built for cloud-native environments. This solution empowers enterprises with tailored dashboards, massive scalability (up to 4,000+ nodes), and health-over-time insights to ensure optimal performance of their cloud-native applications. Leveraging key AWS services like EC2 Auto Scale, EKS, and S3, SUSE Cloud Observability provides a seamless and scalable monitoring experience for businesses of all sizes.
SUSE Application Collection on AWS: A tiered suite of optimized, open source applications, built by SUSE, with SLSA level 3 and software bill of materials (SBOM) availability. Application Collection on AWS provides developers with self-service access and reducing platform engineering overhead. Notably, we have added the AWS Command Line Interface (AWS CLI), enabling users to automate and manage their AWS services directly from the command line.
SUSE Rancher Hosted: Delivers the full power of SUSE Rancher Prime as a fully managed service (SaaS), eliminating operational complexity for enterprises running Kubernetes at scale. Leveraging key AWS services like Route 53 for DNS, Cloudwatch for monitoring and alerting and S3 buckets for backup as well as EC2, Certificate Manager, Systems Manager and VPC.
Moving Ahead
As we move forward, our commitment to our partners remains unwavering. We will continue to invest in programs like Cloud Elevate, providing the support, resources, and enablement our partners need to succeed. Our journey in the SaaS landscape is just beginning, and I am confident that together with our partners, we will achieve remarkable things.
