KubeCon + CloudNativeCon is fast approaching, and the team at SUSE is excited about our participation. KubeCon is not just an event; it’s a celebration of open source collaboration that brings together the brightest minds in the cloud-native ecosystem. I’m excited to announce our participation in KubeCon, where we will connect with many colleagues and community members in Salt Lake City, Utah.

KubeCon serves as a vital platform for industry leaders, developers, and enthusiasts to share ideas, and experiences. It’s a space where open source projects gain visibility, and new collaborations are born. This event highlights the significance of cloud-native technologies and fosters an environment of learning and sharing. By attending KubeCon, we strengthen our connections within the community, driving the future of open source technology forward.

SUSE has deep roots in the open source community. We believe that collaboration leads to greater innovation and success, and we are thrilled to bring this energy to Salt Lake City.

SUSE and CNCF

As proud members of the Cloud Native Computing Foundation (CNCF), our company actively supports the foundation’s mission to advance cloud-native computing. Our involvement in CNCF initiatives allows us to contribute to important projects and collaborate with other industry leaders.  As one of the CNCF Governing Board Silver Member Representatives, serving on the CNCF Board, I’m super excited for this year’s event.

This year, SUSE is a Diamond sponsor of KubeCon. We recognize the importance of supporting events that bring the community together. Our sponsorship reflects our commitment to fostering collaboration, sharing knowledge, and driving the future of open source.

SUSE will be showing up to this year’s event, in some BIG ways with some EXCITING news.

We’ve secured an exclusive location: the breathtaking Natural History Museum of Utah, with stunning views overlooking the Salt Lake Valley. But that’s not all. The night will feature an array of delicious food, drinks and live entertainment. It’s the perfect backdrop for connecting and plotting the next big move in cloud native tech.

This is no ordinary reception. This is your chance to relax, network and soak in the atmosphere. We’ll see you there. The clock is ticking.

We’re excited to share several talks from SUSE during the event. SUSE CEO, Dirk-Peter van Leeuwen (“DP”), will appear on the main stage in a keynote titled, “Open Source-powered Cloud Native Creates the Future.” Additionally, our team will be participating in several talks throughout the event, covering topics from cloud native to AI.

SUSE Booth

Make sure to stop by our booth, located at D2  where you can participate in hands-on demos, engage with our experts, and experience our solutions firsthand. Our team will be on hand to discuss our latest projects, answer your questions, and share insights about our commitment to open source.

Activation Zones

Be sure to check out our activation zones, where you will be able to get an up close look at a Rivian vehicle and challenge your friends in an interactive trivia game to win prizes.

SUSE at Kubernetes on Edge Day

Don’t miss SUSE at Kubernetes on Edge Day, where we will explore the cutting-edge innovations shaping the future of cloud-native computing. According to a forecast from the International Data Corporation (IDC) Worldwide Edge Spending Guide, combined enterprise and service provider spending across hardware, software, professional services, and provisioned services for edge solutions will sustain strong growth through 2027 when spending will reach nearly $350 billion. With hardware and software dispersed across hundreds or even thousands of locations, the simple paradigms around observability, loosely coupled systems, declarative APIs, and strong automation that have propelled the success of cloud native technologies in the cloud are the only feasible way to manage these distributed systems. Kubernetes is already a significant component of the edge ecosystem, driving integrations and operations.

Join us at Kubernetes on the Edge Day at KubeCon + CloudNativeCon and take part in defining the future intersection of cloud native and edge computing!

SUSE sponsors Cloud Native Rejekts

Cloud Native Rejekts is the b-side conference giving a second chance to the many wonderful, but rejected, talks leading into KubeCon + CloudNativeCon.

See You at KubeCon

Whether after a talk, at the SUSE booth, or wherever else our paths may cross we’re excited to connect in Salt Lake City and continue to push the boundaries of what’s possible in the cloud-native ecosystem. Visit our booth, attend our talks, and be part of the conversation. We look forward to seeing you there!
