New Operating System Security Hardening Guides for SAP HANA for SUSE Linux Enterprise Server

Happy New Year!

A few weeks ago we released the new OS Hardening guides for SAP HANA. Starting fresh into a new year it is time to have a closer look at the security of your HANA systems.

The guide for SLES 12 has been updated to v1.2.
Besides some corrections, the part of SUSE Remote Disk Encryption has been reworked.
Since SAP HANA 2 can encrypt the data volume and the redo log files by itself, only the encryption key has to be secured additionally. All the changes are listed in the document appendix (Documentation Updates).

In addition, the first version for SLES for SAP Applications 15 is now also available!
