See what’s new in Enterprise Container Management at SUSECON

I’m excited to be keynoting SUSECON Digital 2022 on June 7-9 2022. As we count down the days, I’m happy to share a little of what to expect from the event in a few short weeks.

The SUSE Rancher team lives and breathes containers and cloud native daily and we see how the technology is being used across the planet. So, in keeping with SUSECON’s Future Forward theme I will be charting the rise of Kubernetes and focussing on what will be important to customers in this space going forward.

Simply put, the future of containers is now. Enterprises are harnessing the freedom that containers bring to deploy their applications in the public cloud, in their own data centres, and in all the places they need to deliver services including their stores, factories, ships, cars and even satellites.

The value of cloud native adoption is huge, including faster app deployment, a common development model across cloud, data center and edge as well as enhanced flexibility.

Some of the challenges we see for enterprises adopting Kubernetes broadly relate to the management of these different environments, and ensuring they have the right governance, security, and operational consistency. It is these areas that I’ll be deep diving into when we come together in June.

I’ll be looking at some of the milestones that the SUSE Rancher portfolio has hit already to enable its customers to overcome these challenges, including industry defining product innovation and the acquisition of NeuVector, which has added the industry’s only end-to-end zero-trust container security solution to SUSE Rancher portfolio.

We’ll then look at some of the exciting innovation that will deliver value for cloud and on-premises customers. This includes detail on SUSE Rancher 2.6.5, its latest features, details of our multi-cloud capabilities and enhancements to the way the portfolio integrates together to provide the best and most seamless customer experience possible.

We’ll demo some of the latest capabilities of the product and will be speaking to some of our trailblazing customers who are using SUSE Rancher to become the innovation heroes of their organizations. We’ll be hearing directly from leaders at our customers to learn more about their amazing work and experiences with SUSE Rancher.

From core to cloud to edge, wherever our customers need their workloads, SUSE will be taking the lead and supporting them with container solutions, built today and ready for tomorrow.
