SUSE Embedded Team to Attend Major Boston BIOMEDevice Conference April 13th-14th 2016

SUSE has entered the Supplier Innovation Challenge with SLES 12 SP1.

The SUSE embedded team will have a booth (405) at this major Biomedical Device conference in Boston, MA that will have medical device companies including supply and manufacturing companies for medical devices.

The medical device industry has been going through many changes recently, including new recommended criteria for security/patches of devices with an OS.  These recent articles  How Can Linux Help Make Medical Devices More Secure  and Designing Linux Based Security in Medtech  paint the picture and SUSE has several features with SLES 12 that would assist embedded customers with meeting these new recommendations for security and patches.  Other features of SLES 12 Sp1 would also assist embedded customers such as: JeOS, full system roll back, live patching,   13 year life cycle support etc.
