SUSE Expands Cloud Elevate to Microsoft Azure Marketplace for Unmatched Flexibility and Growth

Earlier this year, we launched the Cloud Elevate program starting with AWS Marketplace. Today marks the next phase of our launch with the addition of Microsoft Commercial Marketplace. This expansion allows customers to purchase SUSE solutions through their preferred partners on two of the biggest cloud providers: AWS and Azure. This also highlights SUSE’s commitment to support our customers’ move to cloud, and also illustrates how our focused drive with our ecosystem is critical to SUSE and our mutual customers for success.

How Cloud Elevate Benefits our Partner Community

1. Cloud Pre-committed Spend

Many of your customers are likely to have pre-committed budgets for cloud services through Microsoft Azure Consumption Commitment (MACC), Microsoft Customer Agreement (MCA), or Enterprise Agreement (EA) contracts. Being a part of Cloud Elevate allows your customers to utilize this budget effectively.

100% of purchases made through the Microsoft commercial marketplace count toward your customers’ cloud consumption commitments. This not only increases the value of their Azure investment but helps them maximize cost savings.

2. Customer Choice

Both AWS’s Channel Partner Private Offer (CPPO)  and Azure’s Multiparty Private Offers (MPO) offer a unique flexibility for customers to purchase through their preferred partners. These programs enable you to offer customized and comprehensive solutions that combine SUSE technologies with your professional services and support.

This collaboration allows partners to add value by extending their expertise and specialized services, while delivering a seamless experience for our customers. It also opens up new opportunities for partners to offer bundled solutions that enhance customer satisfaction and business growth. In collaboration with our partners, we want to continue to drive a customer-first approach.

3. Accelerated Deal Closures

Partners leveraging the marketplace typically close deals 50% faster. This means customers can get their workloads up and running in record time, while partners enjoy a significantly shortened sales cycle.

The cloud marketplace simplifies the purchasing process, enabling customers to begin using their solutions almost immediately. For partners, this means not only faster sales but an improved customer experience, leading to long-term relationships, repeat business, and most importantly faster time to innovation and impact for our customer’s success.

4. Increased ROI for Partners

Partners who take an active role in selling Independent Software Vendor (ISV) solutions like SUSE often see bigger deals and higher profit margins. By participating in MPO, channel partners can increase their profitability through faster deal closures, larger projects, and enhanced professional services packages.

With SUSE’s leading open source solutions for container management and security, and multi-Linux management available on the Azure marketplace, partners have the opportunity to leverage cutting-edge technology to meet the growing demand for simplifying and accelerating customers’ journeys to a cloud-native future.

Also, SUSE partners that experience our program benefits specific to deal and influence registration can continue to receive these benefits through our Cloud Elevate programs. If you are an AWS or Azure partner and have not joined SUSE One, now is the time as we continue to evolve and expand our offerings with a focus on building our ecosystem for our mutual customer success.
