SUSE at Lenovo AI Summit in Taiwan!
Yes, April 12th was a great day!
We were 1 of 2 Gold Sponsors at the Lenovo AI Summit, which hosted approximately 400 attendees at the Le Méridien Taipei, and met the Lenovo Team and their local Partners/Customers.
The Summit had a morning Keynote and 3 afternoon tracks where Jose Betancourt, SUSE Global Alliance Director for Lenovo, presented on SUSE & Lenovo Solutions for HPC, AI, and ML space to an audience of approximately 150 people covering:
- The HPC Universe (which will be growing to nearly a $15B market by 2021 not only in supercomputers, but also in the departmental areas)
- Market Drivers (Convergence of HPC Data-intensive simulation with analytics combined with more real time, near-real time requirements and private/hybrid cloud usage)
- Customer Pain Points (Complexity, Maintenance, Time to Solution)
- SUSE & Lenovo offerings and other HPC-related products (SUSE Enterprise Storage, SUSE Manager, SUSE OpenStack Cloud)
At the event Lenovo covered the current state of AI and ML technologies via case studies as well as new possibilities with Lenovo and partner solutions.
We were very excited to participate and promote our new solutions with Lenovo especially in the High Performance Computing arena where we are getting ready to launch a bundle of assets.
Stay Tuned for our HPC assets coming soon!
The SUSE/Lenovo bundle will include Flyers and Whitepaper to help our joint customers and partners understand what we are offering as innovative and simplified solutions to make HPC available for all.
And for now, you can take a look at our joint Success Stories:
Leibniz Supercomputing Centre
PIK (Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research)
Technische Universität Darmstadt
Barcelona Supercomputing Center
Last but not least, we would like to thank everyone who visited SUSE`s booth and/or joined our session at the Lenovo AI Summit and our local SUSE Team who hosted Jose and connected our Alliance Team to Lenovo and Partners in the region.
