SUSE Partner Summit 2016: Another one for the books

Last week we had another great SUSECON. To kick off the week we did it in style: we
invited partners of all types from all over to join us to hear about what we’re up to here at SUSE. And judging from the feedback I’ve received from our partners, we more than met the needs of the audience.

This year we had more than 200 attendees from all around the world making this our biggest Partner Summit yet. During the event we provided insight into where SUSE is growing, we gave them a preview of the week’s SUSECON activities and announcements, and we gave them a peek at what we have coming up on the product and solution roadmap. Some of what we said was for those in the room only (the benefit of joining us in person), but I’ll put some of it in a post next week.

I have to say I was excited by how engaged the audience was. During our Executive Q&A Panel we had a frank discussion about topics relevant to them, with direct answers to questions asked live and in-person.  It was fun to be a part of the conversation as the event was hosted by yours truly, but from all I’ve heard our partners enjoyed it as well.

I’m already looking at how we can improve on the event for next year. We’ll follow SUSECON again, next time back in Europe (date and location still TBA). And we’ll do what we always do with our partners, we’ll listen and incorporate your suggestions to make it another best-yet SUSE Partner Summit.

So to all of you who participated, I want to thank you for being there and for joining in on
