"Under his supervision, we will introduce additional smart Linux solutions for end customers as well as for enterprises and promote the strategic and operational collaboration with our technology partners."

Boris Nalbach, CTO SUSE Linux AG

Boris Nalbach (age 43) has been active in the software development departments of leading companies for more than 15 years. After his graduation in electrical engineering - technical computing, Nalbach embarked on his career with ELSA AG, Aachen, Germany, in 1985. From 1990 on he headed the software development. In 1995 he joined Nemetschek AG, Munich, Germany, where he eventually took up responsibility for research & development, documentation, and quality assurance & testing.

"SUSE Linux will prevail in the market. This is no mere start-up buzzphrase, it's what I'm personally deeply convinced of," said Boris Nalbach. "In the past ten years, SUSE has played a substantial role in the development of Linux and has accumulated a globally unique engineering know-how in this sector. To me, Linux clearly demonstrates that the Open Source development approach results in excellent software that leads to superior solutions for our customers."
