Guidelines for iSCSI booting using a Converged Network Adapter (CNA) or using IBFT

Resolution
- The root disk must be used for iSCSI booting using CNA or iBFT.
- Non-boot-time volumes available via iSCSI do not need to use iBFT, but instead can be accessed using the open-iscsi initiator after the system has booted. CNAs can be configured via open-iscsi.
- To place other boot-time non-root volumes on iSCSI using iBFT, the root volume must also be on iSCSI volumes. SLES11 does not support having root on a local disk and swap or other system volumes on iSCSI.
