Environment
SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 10
SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 9
SUSE Linux Enterprise Desktop 11
SUSE Linux Enterprise Desktop 10
Situation
Configured file systems don't mount post boot.
Resolution
- Invalid device
- Unformatted device
- Incorrect mount point
- Configuration error
If there are errors, write down the errors, and resolve the issues mentioned.
You can also look in dmesg output, /var/log/messages and /var/log/boot.msg for clues as to why the file system did not mount at boot time.
