Command reboot shuts the system down instead of reboot

Situation
Resolution
lsmod | grep mei
Blacklisting of the driver can be performed as follows (execute as root user):
- At the bottom of configuration /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist place the entry with the name of affected driver to look like this:
blacklist mei
- Within the /etc/modprobe.d directory create a file corresponding the name of affected driver
mei
- Edit the mei file to contain the following entry
install mei /bin/true
- Restart the system
shutdown -r now
