This document (7003927) is provided subject to the disclaimer at the end of this document.

Environment

SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 11 SP1

Situation

yast2-ftp-server-2.17.5-0.1.147

When configuring passive ports for pure-ftpd using the YaST2 FTP module (yast2 ftp-server) the settings are correctly written to /etc/pure-ftpd/pure-ftpd.conf. However, if yast2 ftp-server is started later again, the settings for the maximum port number does not match the settings from the configuration file and YaST2 reports

Condition for ports is max port > min port.

when trying to exit the module.

Resolution

Please update to yast2-ftp-server-2.17.5.1-0.3.1 or later.
