SUSE® today announced support for the "Simpler Choice" database program from SAP, helping enterprise customers quickly realize the benefits of SAP® in-memory and data management solutions running on Linux, a recommended platform for SAP solutions.

"There are tens of thousands of enterprises using legacy database technology to support their SAP infrastructure who are looking to modernize so they can take advantage of the benefits provided by in-memory database innovations like SAP HANA," said Dirk Oppenkowski, global alliance director responsible for the SAP partnership at SUSE.
