Environment

SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 10

SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 10 Service Pack 1

SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 10 Service Pack 2

Situation

The suspend power management features (specifically hibernate and sleep/standby) are not funtioning on a SLES 10 server.

Resolution

The suspend power management features (specifically hibernate and sleep/standby) are NOT supported on servers running SLES10. These features may work on many systems, but cannot be guaranteed.
