Guest OS Cannot Start When Attaching a VF with Secure Boot Enabled

Environment

SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 12

Situation

When attaching a VF with Secure Boot enabled, the guest OS cannot start.

Resolution

Manually load the vfio-pci driver (modprobe vfio-pci).

Cause

The vfio-pci driver is not loaded automatically.

Additional Information

Note that this is only an issue on systems with Secure Boot enabled.
