grub2-mkrescue: warning: Your xorriso doesn't support `--grub2-boot-info'.

Environment

SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 12 
SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 15 
 

Situation

When running the command:
grub2-mkrescue -o save_path/name.iso /path/isodir/

The following error is seen:
grub2-mkrescue: warning: Your xorriso doesn't support `--grub2-boot-info'. Some features are disabled. Please use xorriso 1.2.9 or later..

Resolution

A package is needed that is not installed by default:
SLES12:
zypper in libburnia-tools libisoburn1

SLES15:
zypper in xorriso
(accept recommended dependencies)
 

Cause

The grub packages do not have an RPM dependency on xorriso related packages, but they are needed for grub2-mkrescue to work correctly.
