Delete root CAs in YaST2

Environment


SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 9

Situation

Several root CAs (Certificate Authorities) have been created within YaST2 and some of them need to be deleted.

Resolution

The CAs that have been created are stored in directories under/var/lib/CAM/.
To delete a CA, use the command
rm -r NAME_OF_DIRECTORY

Additional Information

In SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 10 and SUSE Linux Enterprise Desktop 10, YaST has been extended to allow root CAs to be deleted using YaST.
