SLES15 registered to SMT on SLES12 "No migration available"

Environment

SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 15

Situation

When running "zypper migration" for SLES 15SPx, while registered to a SLES12 SMT server, the result is "no migration available"

Resolution

The "migration" rules in SMT are not optimized for SLES 15.
It is recommended to register SLES15 servers to RMT or SUSE Manager .

Or if using SMT one will need to enable/mirror many extra unneeded repos:

SUSE Cloud Application Platform Tools Module 15 SP3 x86_64 (not available)
NVIDIA Compute Module 15 x86_64 (not available)

Cause

SMT is not built for the SLES 15 zypper migration stack.
Alternate options are available for SLES15.
