This document (7018407) is provided subject to the disclaimer at the end of this document.

Environment

SUSE Manager 2.1

Situation

When running the following command:

mgr-create-bootstrap-repo

the product SLE-12-SP2-x86_64 is not being shown.

Resolution

Please install the PTF available under this link:
https://ptf.suse.com/f2cf38b50ed714a8409693060195b235/sles11-sp3-susemanager-2.1/11928/x86_64/20161118
Download all rpm's to a temporary location in the server, install them with:
rpm -Fvh *.rpm

Then restart services:
spacewalk-service restart

Resync:
mgr-sync refresh

In case the mirroring is needed, use the interactive menu from this command:
mgr-sync add product

Now the product should be available in the select list (as long as the channels have already been mirrored):
mgr-create-bootstrap-repo

Cause

The product wasn't included in the code, this was fixed in a PTF.

Additional Information

While this fix goes through the maintenance process, the PTF can be used. A definite update will be eventually released.
