How to review SALT keys

Environment

SUSE CaaS Platform 2.0

Situation

How to check the status of salt-keys.

Resolution

The following command will review your salt keys on the admin node:

docker exec `docker ps -q --filter name=salt-master` salt-key

The output should look something like this:


Accepted Keys:
1f1ca958584f48d697bdc3dc94b4702b
9ab450d7598f478fb9573e96fb97505c
admin
ca
ecf57d2e00c348d3a9cb7f3ff5d9c189
Denied Keys:
Unaccepted Keys:
Rejected Keys:

Cause

Due to the salt master being containerized, it is not obvious how to review the status of Salt.
