A user opens multiple VNC Windows simultaneously

Environment

SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 12 SP5
SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 12 SP4
SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 12 SP3
SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 12 SP2

Situation

When a user opens more than two VNC Windows at the same time, the following prompts are given
"Sorry,you have to log out a previous session first.
Multiple logins are not supported."

 

Resolution

VNC + XRDP can be used to solve this problem :
 
1.Run: yast remote
  • select  "Allow Remote Administration Without Session Management " 
  • select  "OK"
2.Restart  the display manager  manually or log out and log in again. 
3.Install xrdp packages 
  • zypper in xrdp
4.Start the xrdp service
  • system enable xrdp.service
  • systemctl start xrdp.service
5.Open Windows remote Tools "remote Desktop Connection", input the vnc server's IP Address & select "yes"
6.From the xrdp login screen, select sesman-Xvnc from session and enter the username and password

 

Cause

Only a single VNC connection can be opened.
