Clear cache on SUSE Manager Proxy
This document (7018416) is provided subject to the disclaimer at the end of this document.
Environment
SUSE Manager 2.1
Situation
- Work around DMZs
- Save bandwidth via RPM caching
- Alleviate a little bit of the computational load to the SUSE Manager server via XMLRPC API response caching.
In some situations (e.g. disk space problems, digest verification issues reported by zypper), it might be desired to flush the cache in the Proxy.
Resolution
spacewalk-proxy stop
rm -rf /var/cache/squid/*
squid -z -N
spacewalk-proxy start
