This document (7022814) is provided subject to the disclaimer at the end of this document.

Environment

SUSE Linux Enterprise Server for SAP Applications 11 Service Pack 4
SUSE Linux Enterprise Server for SAP Applications 12
SUSE Linux Enterprise Server for SAP Applications 12 Service Pack 1
SUSE Linux Enterprise Server for SAP Applications 12 Service Pack 2
SUSE Linux Enterprise Server for SAP Applications 12 Service Pack 3

Situation

With the new TSM client version 8.1.4, rear recovery fails.

Resolution

Add the following to "/etc/rear/local.conf":

COPY_AS_IS_TSM=( /etc/adsm /opt/tivoli/tsm/client /usr/local/ibm/gsk8* )

Cause

From TSM client version 8.1.4, the TSM client uses a new file for authentication and this is then missing in the created iso.
