Changing an Openldap user object password using Yast User Management module moves the user out to the base dn

Situation
Resolution
In order to create the data object with this information, go to YaST/Network Services/Ldap Client/Advanced Configuration/Administration Settings and check "Create Default Configuration Objects". Also, under the "Client Settings" tab define the "Naming Contexts" for your users and groups. Finish the configuration and you will be able to change the password using "Yast User Management," and the users will not fall back to the base DN anymore.
