Disabling the auto mount of USB drives

Situation
Resolution
Computer --> More Applications --> System --> Gnome Configuration Editor
Once the Gnome Configuration Editor window appears drill down into the volume_manager section
Uncheck the "automount_drives". USB drives will no longer automatically mount upon insertion.
NOTE: The desktop icon for the USB drive may still be created on the desktop. To mount the drive simply right click on the icon and select mount. Also, this will only affect the user that is logged in when the above steps are followed.
