SSL on Apache 2.2 for SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 10 not working

Environment

SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 10 Service Pack 1

Situation

Apache/2.2.3

Https://servername fails to open giving error diagnose connection.

/var/log/apache2/error_log shows following errors :-

Init: Session Cache is not configured [hint: SSLSessionCache]
Invalid method in request \x16\x03\x01

Resolution

Start Yast.
Go to Network Services | HTTP Server | Server_Modules
Select SSL and enable it.
