OFED modules report wrong support status

Environment

SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 10 Service Pack 2

Situation

Loading OFED modules gives a warning in syslog like:

ib_core: module not supported ...., setting U taint flag.
ib_mad: module not supported ...., setting U taint flag.
ib_sa: module not supported ......., setting U taint flag.
ib_cm: module not supported ......, setting U taint flag.
ib_srp: module not supported ....,. setting U taint flag.

However the support status is wrong, these modules are indeed supported by SUSE

Resolution

Engineering is aware of the problem. The issue may be fixed in a future service pack.
