Resizing a ocfs2 partition on with tunefs on SLES11 HACluster does not work

Environment

SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 11 High Available Extention

Situation

Using tunefs.ocfs2 command for resizing a ocfs2 partition in a HACluster will cause the following error:

# tunefs.ocfs2 -S /dev/DEVICE
tunefs.ocfs2: Unable to access cluster service while opening device "/dev/DEVICE"


Resolution

This is currently being evaluated by development and may be resolved in a future release.
