Synchronization with spacewalk-repo-sync works, but not with mgr-ncc-sync

Environment

SUSE Manager 1.2

Situation

The SUSE Manager is configured with YaST to use an HTTP proxy. When syncing repositories with

spacewalk-repo-sync --channel

it properly syncs the channels. However, when using

mgr-ncc-sync

the sync fails.

Resolution

spacewalk-repo-sync uses the proxy settings that are configured with YaST. mgr-ncc-sync instead is not aware of that. The HTTP proxy has to be put in the SUSE Manager web interface as well. This can be found under Admin -> SUSE Manager Configuration.
