Environment
Situation
"multipath -l | cat -ve" does for example show the following output:
14945540000000000f86756dce9286158be4c6e3567e75ba5 dm-3 IET ,VIRTUAL-DISK $ size=8.0M features='0' hwhandler='0' wp=rw$ |-+- policy='service-time 0' prio=0 status=active$ | `- 3:0:0:64 sdi 8:128 active undef running$ `-+- policy='service-time 0' prio=0 status=enabled$ `- 4:0:0:64 sdq 65:0 active undef running$
Extra spaces after IET and VIRTUAL-DISK can be seen in the above output.
The same output in SLES 11 SP2 does not show these spaces:
14945540000000000f86756dce9286158be4c6e3567e75ba5 dm-10 IET,VIRTUAL-DISK$
size=8.0M features='1 queue_if_no_path' hwhandler='0' wp=rw$
|-+- policy='round-robin 0' prio=0 status=active$
| `- 7:0:0:64 sdu 65:64 active undef running$
`-+- policy='round-robin 0' prio=0 status=enabled$ `- 6:0:0:64 sdt 65:48 active undef running$
