/var/log/messages contains lots of Test Unit Ready commands

Environment

SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 12 Service Pack 2 (SLES 12 SP2)
SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 12 Service Pack 3 (SLES 12 SP3)

Situation

The system log (/var/log/messages) contains lots of messages similar to the following:

Resolution

This issue has been addressed with kernel 4.4.120-92.70.1 for SLES 12 SP2 and 4.4.120-94.17.1 for SLES 12 SP3.

Cause

Test Unit Ready commands were incorrectly reported.

- scsi: do not print 'reservation conflict' for TEST UNIT READY
