Product Description
The IBM BladeCenter® LS42 is a 4-socket blade server delivering high performance for memory-intensive applications and virtualization. The LS42 features AMD Opteron™ processors, and improved memory and I/O performance—enabling IT managers to run demanding applications or consolidate workloads through virtualization.

Config Notes

Install: System installed via network PXE UEFI boot; the OS was installed using the UEFI boot loader and system configuration.
PCI Network Pass-Through: System was tested using PCI pass-through where one of the host network adapters was given to one of the SLES 15 guests. One port of the internal Intel Ethernet Controller I350-AM2 (Dual Port) adapter was used for this testing.
