Config Notes
- Install: System installed via network PXE UEFI boot; the OS was installed using the UEFI boot loader and system configuration. Hard Drive Configuration: RAID 0. Manually created UEFI boot entry.
- Kdump: the crash kernel reserved memory parameters were increased from the default to "crashkernel=174M,high crashkernel=122M,low" using YaST.
- VM Driver Pack: All guests were tested with PV drivers installed. The SLES drivers are included with the OS. The Windows Server 2016 drivers are available from http://download.suse.com (VMDP-WIN-2.4.exe), the virtio network drivers were used during testing.
- PCI Network Pass-Through: System was tested using PCI pass-through where one of the host network adapters was given to a SLES 12 SP2 x86-64 guest. One of the integrated Emulex BE3 controller dual-port GbE adapter was used during this testing.
