Powered by two AMD Opteron™ (Quad-Core) processors, up to 6 (x8) and 2 (x4) PCIe Interfaces, and up to 128 GB of DDR2 system memory, the Sun Blade X6240 Server Module provides the compute power and I/O expandability required to meet your needs now and into the future.

Config Notes

General purpose serial port functionality is not provided by the hardware. Therefore the serial port is supported only for accessing the ILOM and the serial port certification test has been waived.
SLES-9-SP4 (x86_64): System was tested with rev 312 kernel update to solve low memory issues. This update is available from support.novell.com or standard online update methods.
Install: PXE Boot, OS Installed via Network.
