Config Notes
- Tested as a 2-node scalable partition with 8 Compute Books.
- Install: System installed via network PXE UEFI boot; the OS was installed using the UEFI boot loader and system configuration. Hard disk configuration: RAID 1.
- Kdump: the crash kernel reserved memory parameter must be increased from the default value for kdump to function correctly.
- VM Driver Pack: All guests were tested with PV drivers installed. The SLES drivers are included with the OS. The Windows 2012 R2 drivers are available from http://download.suse.com (VMDP-WIN-2.2.exe).
- SR-IOV: System was tested using SR-IOV where a virtual network adapter was given to the SLES 12 FV guest. One of the Intel I350-T4 ML2 GbE adapters was used in this testing.
