Config Notes

Install: System installed via network PXE UEFI boot; the OS was installed using the UEFI boot loader and system configuration. Hard Disk Configuration: RAID 0.
2) The megaraid_sas.ko used during testing is not SUSE SolidDriver Program compliant. The driver was installed from the following driver package: ibm_dd_sraidmr_6.602.03.00-2_sles11_32-64.tgz. This driver package must be downloaded and installed during the SLES install. To obtain the driver go to: http://www-933.ibm.com/support/fixcentral/systemx/selectFix?product:ibm%2Fsystemx%2F5463&fixids:ibm_dd_sraidmr_6.602.03.00-2_sles11_32-64&source:dbluesearch&function:fixId&parent:Lenovo%20System%20x3550%20M5.
System Power: Certification testing required two 750 Watt power supplies to be installed.
Maintenance update: SLES 11 SP3 x86-64 Xen maintenance update 9828, kernel update 9751 and grub2 update 9621 are required and were installed during certification testing.
Xen Hypervisor: the hypervisor was booted with following additional parameters: dom0_mem=4G dom0_max_vcpus=4.
VM Driver Pack: All FV guests were tested with PV drivers installed. The SLES 11 SP3 drivers are included with the OS. The Windows 2012 drivers are available from http://download.novell.com (VMDP-WIN-2.1.exe).
PCI Network Pass-Through: System was tested using PCI pass-through where one of the host network adapters was given to one of the SLES 11 SP3 x86-64 FV guests. One of the integrated Broadcom BCM5719 Gigabit Ethernet Controller adapters was used during this testing.
