Config Notes

Hard disk configuration: JBOD. System was scaled up to 8-socket by joining four x880 X6 with 8S scalability connector.
Install: System installed via network PXE UEFI boot; the OS was installed using the UEFI boot loader and system configuration.
Kdump (SLE12SP2): the crash kernel reserved memory parameters were increased from the default to crashkernel=163M,high crashkernel=122M,low using YaST.
Serial/USB/VGA port(s): provided through KVM connector console breakout cable which supplies one RS232 serial port, one VGA port and two USB ports (each node also has an internal USB port).
