Config Notes
- Hard Disk Configuration: RAID 5.
- Install: System installed using the internal DVD drive; the OS was installed from DVD using the UEFI boot loader and system configuration.
- VM Driver Pack: All FV guests were tested with PV drivers installed. The SLES 11 SP3 drivers are included with the OS. The Windows 2012 drivers are available from http://download.novell.com (VMDP-WIN-2.1.exe), and the virtio network drivers were used during testing.
- PCI Network Pass-Through: System was tested using PCI pass-through where the network adapter was given to the SLES 11 SP3 x86-64 guest. An added network adapter, Intel® PRO/1000 PM (82571EB) Dual-Port Gigabit Ethernet Controller, was used in this testing - this adapter was using the standard SP3 e1000e driver.
