Product Description
These ultra compact kiosks combine an advanced intrared (IR) flat-panel touchscreen, an Intel® Celeron® M processor 350 (1.30 GHz), and optional peripherals in a slim space-saving design that is easy to place, like signage. Customers can choose from 12", 15" and 17" touch screen models or with volume control knob. AnyPlace Kiosks carry two different warranty periods; 13x for DEPOT and 1Zx for IOR (IBM on-site repair).

Config Notes

Desktop Effects: Graphics driver/adapter does not support desktop effects.
Power Management: System does support Hibernate or Standby.
Video : Requires the Intel® legacy drivers to be installed. (1) Download the iso from http://drivers.suse.com/ibm/rss/IBM-4836-135/sle11-sp1/ibm-4836-135-sle11-sp1.iso and load it as a repository using YaST in failsafe mode. Driver is PLDP compliant. (2) Install xorg-x11-driver-video-intel-legacy using the software management tool in YaST (3) Edit /etc/X11/xorg.conf, under the graphics device setting, change the graphics driver to "intellegacy" (4) Edit /boot/grub/menu.lst and add the kernel boot parameter "nomodeset" (5) Reboot the system.
Install: PXE Boot, OS Installed via Network.
Power Management: System/Processor does not support fan thermal scaling.
Power Management: System/Processor does not support throttling.
Power Management: System/Processor does not support dynamic CPU frequency scaling.
