Config Notes
- Desktop Effects: Graphics driver/adapter does not support desktop effects.
- Video : Requires the intel legacy drivers to be installed.
(1) Download the iso from http://drivers.suse.com/ibm/rss/IBM-4836-135/sle11-sp1/ibm-4836-135-sle11-sp1.iso and load it as a repository using YaST in failsafe mode. Driver is PLDP compliant.
(2) Install xorg-x11-driver-video-intel-legacy using the software management tool in YaST
(3) Edit /etc/X11/xorg.conf, under the graphics device setting, change the graphics driver to "intellegacy" (4) Edit /boot/grub/menu.lst and append the kernel parameter nomodeset
(5) Reboot
- Install: PXE Boot, OS Installed via Network.
- System does support Hibernate and Standby.
