Product Description

Config Notes
- The driver "ixgbe.ko" used during testing is SUSE SolidDriver Program compliant. The driver ixgbe used for Intel(R) 10GbE PCI Express Family of Server Adapters is named "ixgbe-kmp-default-5.6.1_k4.12.14_94.41-h1b.x86_64.rpm". This driver package can be downloaded and installed after the SLES12 SP4 install. To obtain the driver go to http://www.hitachi.co.jp/products/bladesymphony/download/driver/12347906.html.
- The maximum CPU cores or threads when hyper threading is enabled which can be allocated from LPAR is 240.
- This is a SAN boot only system.
- Install: The SLES install was performed using a virtual DVD device.
- The driver "hfcldd.ko" used during testing is SUSE SolidDriver Program compliant. The driver was installed from the driver update disk (DUD) "dud-htc-hfcldd-4.12.22.4340.iso" and the driver package "htc-hfcldd-kmp-default-4.12.22.4340_4.12.14_94.41-1.2.sles12sp4.x86_64.rpm". To obtain DUD and the driver package, go to http://www.hitachi.co.jp/products/bladesymphony/download/driver/12347895.html. DUD can be used to install SUSE Linux Enterprise Server(SLES) to the SAN storage, and driver package can be installed after the SLES installation.
