Product Description
PRIMERGY TX140 S1p: the expandable SME allrounder. It is ideal for SME or branch customers
looking for a classic file, print, mail, or database
server, with high scalability, and best availability
through optional redundant power supplies. As
the company evolves, so too does the TX140
S1p. Storing up to 12 TB of data, the TX140
S1p can easily handle large files. At a later
stage, the TX140 S1p can be included in a rack
cabinet with dedicated storage systems. From
here, customers can fully take advantage of the
extensive connectivity options, Intel® Xeon® E3
series performance, and high serviceability via the
optional front service LAN port.

Config Notes
- SR-IOV: System was tested using SR-IOV where a virtual network adapter was given to a SLES 15 FV guest. One of the Intel Ethernet Connection X722 (Quad-Port) for 1GbE adapters was used in this testing.
- Install: System installed via network PXE UEFI boot; the OS was installed using the UEFI boot loader and system configuration. Disk configuration: RAID 0.
- Persistent Memory: The Persistent Memory in the system was configured in Mixed Mode, 90-percent in Memory Mode and 10-percent in AppDirect Mode.
