Product Description
The PRIMERGY TX100 S3p is ideal for SMEs, looking
for a first server with Intel® Xeon® support. With
a maximum of 32 GB of RAM, and excellent
processor performance, it offers more than
enough performance for all classic server tasks,
such as file, print, web or office applications.
The dual onboard gigabit LAN, makes it easier
to do business 24x7. Moreover, the TX100 S3p is
incredibly silent making it an excellent choice for
any office environment. With its optional 0-Watt
functionality and a choice of two highly efficient
power supply units, the TX100 S3p minimizes costs
and the environmental impact.

Config Notes
- Install: System installed via network PXE UEFI boot; the OS was installed using the UEFI boot loader and system configuration. Tested as a 2-node scalable partition with 8 Compute Books. Hard disk configuration: RAID 1. Xen Hypervisor: the hypervisor was booted with following additional parameters: dom0_mem=10G dom0_max_vcpus=10. 64-bit guests were tested with a maximum memory configuration of 64GB.
- VM Driver Pack: All FV guests were tested with PV drivers installed. The SLES drivers are included with the OS. The Windows 2012 R2 drivers are available from http://download.novell.com (VMDP-WIN-2.2.exe).
- PCI Pass-Through: System was tested using PCI pass-through where one of the network adapter was given to the SLES 12 FV guests. One of the Intel I350-T ML2 GbE adapters was used in this testing.
