Config Notes

Install: OS Installed via internal DVD-RW, following configuration is needed in the BIOS: Config-->Serial ATA (SATA)-->Compatibility
Sound: Recording on the internal microphone is not supported on this system.
Sound: Recording on an external microphone is not supported on this system.
External Monitor: Dual-head mode (external monitor) is not supported on this system.
Desktop Effects: Graphics driver/adapter does not support desktop effects.
The LAN driver used during testing was installed from the following rpm: a)intel-e1000e-0.4.1.6-1.i586.rpm b)intel-e1000e-kmp-smp-0.4.1.6_2.6.16.60_0.21-1.i586.rpm . Thess drivers downloaded and installed after the SLED install. To obtain the driver go to: http://forgeftp.novell.com/driver-process/pub/update/Intel/sle10sp2/ptf/common/i586/
The Wireless driver used during testing was installed from the following rpm: a) intel-iwl5000-ucode-5.4.A.11-2.1.noarch.rpm b) intel-iwlwifi-kmp-smp-1.3.27_2.6.16.60_0.21-0.i586.rpm c) novell-mac80211-kmp-smp-20081028_2.6.16.60_0.21-0.i586.rpm .Thess drivers can be downloaded and installed after the SLED install. To obtain the driver go to: http://forgeftp.novell.com/driver-process/pub/update/Intel/sle10sp2/ptf/common/i586/
