Config Notes
- This is a SAN boot only system.
- The Hitachi SAS 3004 iMR ROMB and local HDD (hard disk drives) are not supported on this configuration.
- The driver "hfcldd.ko" used during testing is SUSE SolidDriver Program compliant. The driver was installed from the driver update disk (DUD) "dud-htc-hfcldd-4.15.22.4364.iso" and the driver package "htc-hfcldd-kmp-default-4.15.22.4364_5.3.18_22-1.sles15sp2.x86_64.rpm". To obtain DUD and the driver package, go to http://www.hitachi.co.jp/products/bladesymphony/download/driver/12348016.html. DUD can be used to install SUSE Linux Enterprise Server(SLES) to the SAN storage, and driver package can be installed after the SLES installation.
- The driver "ixgbe.ko" used during testing is SUSE SolidDriver Program compliant. The driver ixgbe used for Intel(R) 10GbE PCI Express Family of Server Adapters is named " ixgbe-kmp-default-5.8.1_k5.3.18_22-h1b.x86_64.rpm". This driver package can be downloaded and installed after the SLES15 SP2 install. To obtain the driver go to http://www.hitachi.co.jp/products/bladesymphony/download/driver/12348018.html .
- Install: The SLES install was performed using a virtual DVD device.
