Config Notes
- Install: System installed via network PXE UEFI boot; the OS was installed using the UEFI boot loader and system configuration. Tested as a 2-node scalable partition with 8 Compute Books. Hard disk configuration: RAID 1. Xen Hypervisor: the hypervisor was booted with following additional parameters: dom0_mem=10G dom0_max_vcpus=10. 64-bit guests were tested with a maximum memory configuration of 64GB.
- VM Driver Pack: All FV guests were tested with PV drivers installed. The SLES drivers are included with the OS. The Windows 2012 R2 drivers are available from http://download.novell.com (VMDP-WIN-2.2.exe).
- PCI Pass-Through: System was tested using PCI pass-through where one of the network adapter was given to the SLES 12 FV guests. One of the Intel I350-T ML2 GbE adapters was used in this testing.
