Config Notes
- Install: System installed using an external USB DVD drive; the OS was installed from DVD using the UEFI boot loader and system configuration. Disk configuration: single HDD and two M.2 (boot) drives configured as separate RAID 0.
- Kdump (SLES11SP4): the crash kernel reserved memory parameter was changed from the default 128M to 256M (crashkernel=512M-:256M) for kdump to function correctly.
- Installation Kit: The lenovo_servers_thinksystem-sle11sp4-x86_64-1.0.iso installation kit is SUSE SolidDriver Program compliant. This installation kit must be downloaded and used to start the SLES installation. To obtain the installation kit go to: https://drivers.suse.com/lenovo/Lenovo-ThinkSystem/sle-11-sp4-x86_64/1.0/.
- Serial/USB/VGA port(s): provided through KVM connector console breakout cable which supplies one RS232 serial port, one VGA port and two USB ports. The system also has one internal USB port.
