Config Notes
- Kdump: the crash kernel reserved memory parameters were increased from the default to "crashkernel=170M,high crashkernel=142M,low" using YaST.
- Install: System installed via network PXE UEFI boot; the OS was installed using the UEFI boot loader and system configuration. Hard Disk Configuration: RAID1 and RAID 5. Xen Hypervisor: the hypervisor was booted with following additional parameters: dom0_mem=6G dom0_max_vcpus=4.
- VM Driver Pack: All guests were tested with PV drivers installed. The SLES drivers are included with the OS. The Windows 2012 R2 drivers are available from https://download.suse.com/ (VMDP-WIN-2.3.exe).
- SR-IOV: System was tested using SR-IOV where a virtual network adapter was given to a FV SLES 12 guest. One of the Intel I350-T4 ML2 Quad Port GbE adapters was used in this testing.
